  • Lead the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for major civil engineering projects.

  • Manage all aspects of contractual and financial management for projects.

  • Conduct detailed risk analysis and cost control.

  • Oversee procurement processes and manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Provide expert advice on commercial and contractual matters to project teams.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

  • Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors, fostering professional growth within the team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and legislation.

  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.

  • Proficient in relevant software and tools.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

  • NEC3/4 & JCT Contract Experience

  • Estimating ability inc. experience/understanding of CESSM

  • 8 years experience in a QS role, water / wastewater experience ideal but not essential

  • Producing Cash Flow, Forecasts and assisting management accounts

  • Tendering and Framework application support and experience
