Early Careers Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging, creative and challenging lessons that align with the national curriculum and cater to the individual needs of students.

  • Encourage the academic, emotional and social growth of students through differentiated teaching methods and create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

  • Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and adapt teaching strategies to address students’ learning styles and needs.

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and cultivate a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration and enthusiasm for learning.

  • Work closely with fellow teachers, support staff and parents to create a holistic learning experience and participate in professional development opportunities.

  • As an Early Careers Teacher, you will be actively supported through mentoring and access to professional development opportunities to ensure continuous growth in your teaching practice.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

  • A strong passion for teaching, with a clear desire to make a difference in young learners’ lives.

  • Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting is desirable, though not essential for the right candidate.

  • An in-depth knowledge of the national curriculum, with the ability to plan, deliver and assess a wide range of subjects effectively.
