Premier Recruit are currently recruiting for 6 X HGV2 (Cat C) Driver / Drainage Operatives to work the day shift on a Temp to Perm basis for a Drainage Contractor based in Millbrook Southampton, and working in conjunction with Southern Water. We can offer an almost immediate start to the right candidates.
You will be working as part of a 2 or 3 person team unblocking drains outside properties and on the public highway. This can be dirty and physical work at times but will be a secure position working on behalf of a National Utilities Company so there is job security. Newly passed Class 2 drivers are most welcome to apply.
Please Note, the first 2 days training / induction for this job will be held at the training centre which is based in Guildford Surrey. Before you apply for this role, please ensure that you are ok to travel to this location. The training is fully paid.
All Personal Protective Equipment will be provided including jackets, trousers, hard hat and boots.
The shift pattern will be: Working Monday to Fridays days or we can offer a 4 on 4 off rota. This will be paid at £15.75 per hour. Overtime paid at both time and a quarter as well as time and a half.
Requirements:- A can do attitude and are not afraid of physical work.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- A Full UK Cat C Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- A Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- A Valid CPC Card.
- 12 week Temp to perm Position.
- Weekly pay.
