Your key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional audit activities for our clients.
- Taking a lead on fieldwork, assisting in managing the audit process and keeping engagement leaders updated on audit engagements.
- Completing and reviewing audit processes and documenting higher-risk areas.
- Engaging clients and providing authoritative advice and professionalism throughout transactions.
- Constantly developing your understanding of current market trends and processes.
- Understanding our clients' unique ambitions and needs and referring them to colleagues in other teams.
To qualify for the role you must have:
- ACA/CA/ACCA (ICAEW, ICAS, Irish Institute or equivalent international qualification) - preferably first time passes.
- Experience leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits.
- Proven project management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven experience in delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
- A dedication to teamwork and leadership.
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Experience applying UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience of working in a similar environment.
