Business Teacher

Job Title: Business Teacher Job Type: Full time Salary: MPS/ UPS LEA: Staffordshire Reports To: Head of Department or Head Teacher We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Business Teacher to join the academic team of a partnering Staffordshire school. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in business concepts and practices and will be able to deliver engaging, real-world instruction to students. This role involves teaching courses such as Introduction to Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Economics, preparing students for success in higher education and the workforce. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality business lessons aligned with curriculum standards. * Teach subjects such as Business Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, and Entrepreneurship. * Use a variety of instructional strategies and technology tools to meet diverse student needs. * Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams. * Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning, critical thinking, and innovation. * Integrate real-world examples, current events, and case studies into lessons. * Encourage student participation in business-related extracurriculars such as DECA, FBLA, or school enterprises. * Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance. * Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success. * Stay current with developments in business education and industry practices. Qualifications and requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Business Education, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. * QTS, QTLS or relevant teaching qualifications * Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. Preferred: * Master’s degree in Business Education or related field. * Prior teaching experience at the middle, high school, or post-secondary level. * Experience with curriculum development and educational technology. * Familiarity with business simulations and student-run enterprises.
