This incredibly down to earth and friendly US law firm are looking for an ambitious Legal Junior Sec/Second Jobber to provide support to a small team in their London office near Liverpool Street.
This is a fantastic new role which would suit someone who has previously had at least two years' experience within professional services and is looking to break into a law firm. The ideal candidate will understand the need to cover all administration efficiently as well as handling shifting priorities within a busy corporate environment.
You will look after a range of London based Partners and Associates but also be back up cover to Partners based in European offices, dealing with high level Russian clients.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Dealing with all general secretarial duties including typing of documents
- Back up on the IT systems - with a full knowledge of MS Word package
- Dealing with all aspects of office facilities, stationery, postage, meeting room co-ordination
- Opening and closing client files
- Printing off emails, some research and compilation of database systems
- Handling due diligence matters on caseloads
Working in an extremely busy and friendly office, the ideal candidate is someone bright, willing and enthusiastic and who can pick up instructions quickly and learn to adapt with the ebb and flow of workload.
