We are currently working closely with a leading defence organisation who are looking for a Lead Architect to join a dedicated and collaborative systems engineering team. This is a full-time permanent position with dynamic hybrid working (3–5 days on-site depending on classification). Key responsibilities will include: Lead the generation of architectural artefacts across a complex mission planning and control project. Guide and support other architects in a multi-product environment. Drive modularity and re-use across multiple systems. Collaborate closely with engineering leads to ensure delivery of work packages on time and within scope. Influence system design and take ownership of architectural vision across the programme. The successful candidate will have: A strong background in complex systems architecture with hands-on experience in MBSE. Experience working within product line environments is highly desirable. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across teams. Proven ability to lead small to medium work packages independently. Strong analytical thinking and an aptitude for tackling complex engineering challenges.
