FPGA Designer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced FPGA Designer to join a leading defence organisation and contribute to the development of complex and cutting-edge FPGA platforms. This role performs all phases of the FPGA design lifecycle and reports to the Lead FPGA Design Engineer. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement advanced FPGA architectures across a variety of systems including signal processing and embedded applications • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver secure and reliable solutions • Verify complex designs using VHDL and System Verilog/UVM methodologies • Develop low-level software in C for testing and integration with embedded systems • Ensure thorough documentation and compliance with design standards The successful candidate will have: • Proficiency in FPGA design and verification (VHDL, Simulink, UVM, etc.) • Experience with toolsets such as QuestaSim, ModelSim, and vendor-specific platforms • A strong understanding of embedded systems and digital hardware integration • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline This position offers a lucrative benefits package, which includes but is not inclusive of: • Bonus scheme (based on company performance) • Annual pay reviews and promotion reviews (based on personal performance) • Overtime paid at an enhanced rate • Flexi-Leave (of up to 15 days) • Pension scheme (total contribution of up to 14%) • Subsidised site facilities and restaurants • Free parking • Excellent career progression and training / career development opportunities If this role looks like your next challenge, please contact Keelan ASAP or apply via this advert!
