An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Finance Assistant to join the fast-growing team at Whiskey & Wealth Club. This is a fantastic role for someone looking to develop their career in finance within a dynamic, ambitious, and fast-paced environment.

As Finance Assistant, you’ll play a key supporting role in our finance function, helping to keep the day-to-day operations running smoothly while gaining exposure to all areas of the business. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of experience in a finance role, looking to build on their skills and grow within a high-energy team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Posting purchase and sales invoices, journals, and staff expenses
  • Assisting with daily bank reconciliations
  • Managing the accounts payable inbox and resolving invoice queries
  • Supporting the preparation of staff wages (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)
  • Preparing and reviewing bills, invoices, and account statements
  • Following up on outstanding payments and resolving aged payables
  • Preparing daily consolidated deposits and cash variance documentation
  • Assisting with month-end closing procedures and finance reporting

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a finance or accounts role
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is ideal (but not essential with experience)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
  • Proactive, organised, and able to prioritise workload effectively
  • A positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
