Are you passionate about using data to drive meaningful change that can improve the accountability of the Police to the public? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the MOPAC Evidence & Insight team – a dedicated in-house analysis and social research team consisting of experienced analysts and researchers conducting analytics into crime, criminal justice and policing for London. We are seeking to appoint a permanent Performance and Analysis Officer to work within the Performance and Oversight unit of the Evidence & Insight team to lead on performance analysis and reporting, supporting key decision-makers in shaping policies and strategies. In this role, you will develop, refine, and present data-driven insights on crime and justice performance metrics, and produce high-impact dashboards and reports for senior leadership and policymakers. You will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to ensure data-driven solutions inform policy and practice. Required Skills & Experience The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance analysis, with a proven ability to draw out key insights from complex datasets and present these findings clearly to a range of stakeholders. You will have experience leading the development and maintenance of performance reporting products, including dynamic data dashboards. Advanced skills in Power BI development are essential, including expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modelling, as well as experience building and embedding Power BI reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
