DCT Recruitment are looking for an ambitious and analytical Junior Media Buyer to join our fast-growing lead generation client on a permanent basis. Based in the heart of Sheffield, our client delivers high-volume digital campaigns that generate thousands of leads daily across sectors like diesel emissions and mis-sold car finance. This role is perfect for someone with at least one year of hands-on experience running paid campaigns on Meta, TikTok, Google or Native. You’ll be hungry to scale performance, optimise at pace and work within a high-output team. You’ll support senior buyers by building, launching and improving campaigns across multiple platforms. You’ll also gain experience managing large budgets, using advanced reporting tools, testing creatives and learning how to scale efficiently. We move fast, test relentlessly and reward results.
Key Responsibilities
- Launch and optimise paid media campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google and Native platforms
- Analyse campaign performance, create reports and provide actionable insights
- Work with creative and copy teams to develop high-converting ads
- Monitor budgets, pacing, lead volumes and CPL targets daily
- Run A/B tests across creatives, placements and audiences
- Stay current on platform changes, algorithm updates and new ad formats
- Proactively flag issues or opportunities and assist with troubleshooting
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in paid media (Meta, TikTok, Google or Native)
- Strong ability to interpret data and turn it into clear recommendations
- Good understanding of performance metrics like CPM, CTR, CPL and ROAS
- Confident using Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and TikTok Ads Manager
- Excellent Excel or Google Sheets skills for reporting and budget tracking
- Strong grasp of ad creative fundamentals that drive engagement and conversion
- Detail-focused, proactive and keen to learn fast in a results-driven environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with tracking platforms like RedTrack or Hyros
- Exposure to high-volume lead generation or eCommerce campaigns
- Knowledge of compliance, ad policy and funnel optimisation
