An award-winning, design-led landscape architecture and masterplanning practice is seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join its growing team. Renowned for its collaborative, people-focused ethos, the practice delivers high-quality, sustainable design across a broad range of sectors, including residential, mixed-use, strategic land, and infrastructure.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and skilled designer to lead complex projects, mentor junior team members, and play a key role in shaping the studioβs evolving portfolio. The role offers significant responsibility and autonomy across all project stages β from early concept development to technical delivery β with the opportunity to contribute strategically to both design and practice development.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design and delivery of large-scale, multidisciplinary landscape projects.
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships, including leading meetings and presentations.
- Oversee project programmes, resourcing, and financial tracking in collaboration with directors.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level team members.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams, including architects, engineers, and planning consultants.
- Review and ensure the quality of design outputs, including masterplans, planning submissions, technical packages, and specifications.
- Support the development of best practice, innovation, and sustainability within the design process.
- Degree in Landscape Architecture and fully qualified CMLI.
- Significant UK-based consultancy experience, ideally including team leadership or project management roles.
- Strong design sensibility with excellent technical knowledge and a keen understanding of UK planning and construction processes.
- Proficient in design and documentation tools (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp; Revit and GIS advantageous).
- Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships and advocate for design quality.
- Passionate about place-making, sustainability, and delivering meaningful public realm projects.
