Environmental Advisor - (Contract – Outside IR35)

We’re working with a major engineering and project delivery organisation to support the recruitment of an experienced Environmental Advisor. This is a great opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile energy infrastructure project, with responsibilities spanning both onshore and offshore environments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the Construction Environmental Management Plan for onshore and offshore scopes
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with all environmental requirements and regulations
- Oversee and guide the Environmental Coordinator
- Act as a key interface with the client, local authorities, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders
- Carry out core environmental project activities including ENVIDs, environmental planning, data reporting and investigations
- Conduct site audits, inspections, training sessions, and compile detailed reports
- Support internal teams with compliance strategy and environmental performance metrics
- Degree-qualified in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years’ experience delivering environmental support across both onshore and offshore energy or infrastructure projects
- Certified ISO 14001 Lead Auditor
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to interface confidently with both internal and external stakeholders
- Long-term contract opportunity
