We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team and help create a positive and engaging learning environment.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery, classroom preparation, and individual student support. This is a full-time temporary position, ideal for someone passionate about education and child development, with the flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of a classroom setting.

Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
Support the preparation of classroom materials and resources
Provide one-to-one support for students with learning difficulties or additional needs
Supervise pupils during classroom activities, playtimes, and transitions
Help with student assessments and maintain accurate records
Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environmentRequirements:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (essential)
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
Enhanced DBS check on the update system (essential)
Prior experience working with children in an educational setting (desirable)
Understanding of child development and learning processes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
First Aid certification (preferred)
Additional training or qualifications in education or childcare (preferred)Working Conditions:

Full-time, Monday to Friday – 8.30am until 3.30pm
Classroom-based role, working closely with young children
