The role will involve:
- Field sales position selling the hire of renewable power.
- Promoting solar generators, solar smart frames, battery storage units and renewable power accessories.
- Predominantly selling into construction contractors as well as civils and utilities.
- Targeting sustainable teams within the contractors.
- Responsible for growing an area with £1m turnover.
- 50% new business within existing contractors and 50% new business within new customers.
- Projects typically 26 weeks+, £50,000+ order values.
- Glenigan leads provided, plus an influx of leads from our clients established modular hire field sales team.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Hire/rental industry experience.
- Ideally technical knowledge of renewable power products.
- Open to all power generations, battery and solar field sales backgrounds.
- Happy to travel (large area).
- Experience of providing power related solutions and communicating technical product knowledge.
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
- Proven new business and account management experience.
- Construction sector experience.
- Understanding of electrical installations.
