With a commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction, this company offers a dynamic and supportive environment for engineering professionals.
As a Quality Technician working on a double-day shift pattern, you will play a key role in ensuring that all products meet internal and external quality standards. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, supporting root cause analysis, and driving quality improvements across the production process.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform in-process and final inspections of components and assemblies
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to verify product compliance
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances
- Maintain accurate quality records including inspection reports and NCRs
- Support internal and external audits
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
- Assist in the calibration and maintenance of measuring equipment
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Engineering or Manufacturing
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and quality tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Flexibility to work a double day shift pattern (typically 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
