The predicted salary is between 40000 - 52000 £ per year.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Supervisor to carry out installation works and support maintenance activities to Tate exhibitions, plant replacements/upgrades and general electrical works.

This will encompass new, reactive and replacement works and emergency procedures ensuring they are expedited with the minimum of delay in support of Tate's operation. Able to work unsupervised and apply own initiative working across other Tate sites as required.

Salary – £50,000 – £52,000 Plus lots of overtime available.

(OTE including overtime can be upto £70,000)

Responsibilities

  • Installation of electrical systems and controls associated with Heating, Ventilating and general Building Services.
  • Installation, repair and maintenance of lighting and distribution systems.
  • Electrical fault diagnosis associated with reactive maintenance of the site.
  • Provide reports in relation to work and equipment as required, including completion of site records for new works carried out.
  • To maintain stores systems.
  • Be flexible in approach to working hours required taking into account Tate business hours, public access and customer completion dates.
  • Assist other trades as required. To undertake miscellaneous duties as instructed.
  • Provide cover for other staff when on holiday or during sickness absence.
  • Comply with HASAWA and company HSE procedures.
  • To carry out installation and replacement works as required supervising other staff, providing material lists and technical solutions for installation requirements.
  • To undertake maintenance and reactive repairs of mechanical and electrical building services and associated equipment when required.
  • To carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated electrical systems when instructed.
  • To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated with works.
  • Participate in Permit to Work System.
  • To work across all Tate sites liaising with customer representatives when required organising resources to deliver works as required to meet programme and customer expectations.
  • Meet/exceed Service Level Agreements/Objectives as set.
  • Support Tate events as required.

Requirements

  • City & Guilds (Electrical Installation 236) Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent
  • 18th Edition qualification
  • Test & Inspection qualified
  • Experience with electrical maintenance including fault diagnosis and rectification
  • Experience in electrical installation works in occupied buildings
  • Good mechanical experience/knowledge
  • Driving license
