Head of Corporate Development – FinTech

Hybrid working (Central London office / WFH)

£130/150k + options + excellent benefits

Talentedge are exclusively partnering with a hyper-growth FinTech on a newly created Head of Corporate Development opportunity.

Partnering closely with two exceptional Founders as well as CFO, you will be the lead on devising the multi-year strategy, with a particular focus on inorganic growth.

You’ll be fantastic for this role if you are seeking a highly commercial opportunity with daily access to C Suite conversations and interactions. Key responsibilities to include:

  • Research trends in the market and competitor performance in order to make strategic recommendations and decisions
  • Own the entire M&A process
  • Develop and maintain relationships with analysts, investors and other external partners
  • Own all outward facing communications, including investor presentations and reports
  • Business partner cross-functionally, in particular with the PR team and wider finance function

Profile:

  • Background in Equity Research and M&A
  • Financial services / FinTech exposure is advantageous however non-essential
  • Mathematical and data driven in approach with strong financial modelling skills
  • Effective communicator, comfortable working with teams across the business as well as external partners and investors
