We are seeking an experienced Study Director to join an analytical laboratory based in Derby, specialising in GLP-compliant pesticide residue analysis. The organisation supports agrochemical companies in the registration of plant protection products.
In this role, you'll take the lead on regulatory studies, from planning through to reporting, and work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality scientific outcomes.
What you'll do:
- Serve as Study Director for GLP regulatory studies
- Prepare detailed study plans and final reports
- Perform sample preparation, extraction, purification, and quantitation using LC-MS/MS and GC-MS
- Ensure compliance with GLP and regulatory protocols
- Method development and validation
- Collaborate with experienced scientists and field partners
- Support laboratory operations and contribute to continuous improvement
- Deliver high-quality data with accuracy and attention to detail
Your background:
- A degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
