About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Composite Department.
Are you an experienced and skilled composite laminator?
Do you take pride in producing precision-engineered, ultra-premium components?

Role and Responsibilities
- Creating hand-built composite components
- Carefully and accurately following project specifications and technical drawings
- Preparing components for autoclave curing using vacuum bagging techniques
- Maintaining tooling patterns and moulds, applying chemical sealers and release systems
- Fabricating moulds and resolving any quality issues in collaboration with project engineers
- Following build manuals and quality control procedures to ensure accuracy
- Maintaining personal hand tools
- Tracking materials using the correct documentation
- Collecting data to ensure all components meet high quality specifications
- Maintaining optimal quality materials by ensuring prepreg carbon fibre is correctly stored after shift
- The safe handling composite materials, adhering to Health & Safety guidelines
- Take a proactive role in Health and Safety providing immediate feedback to managers where potential Health & Safety or customer satisfaction concerns exist
Experience and Skills
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality, hand-crafted work
- Ability to understand and adhere to technical engineering drawings and information
- Experience in composite laminating is essential
- Comfortable with hand and power tools
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Adaptable, positive character with a flexible approach to work
- Excellent attendance and timekeeping record
Additional Information
Working pattern. Monday to Friday, 8am until 4:30pm
Overtime. Available
Salary. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience
Other. Free on-site parking
