A high-growth, entrepreneurial, and values-driven business is seeking a Financial Controller to lead its financial reporting function, ensuring accurate reporting, strong compliance, and efficient day-to-day finance operations. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll manage a small team and play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate monthly management accounts, annual financial statements, and support external audits
  • Oversee tax compliance (VAT, Corporation Tax) and maintain robust financial controls
  • Manage cash flow, banking, and treasury activities to ensure financial stability
  • Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Lead, develop, and support a high-performing finance team
  • Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, processes, and reporting
  • Act as a key adviser to the leadership team, providing insight to guide strategic decisions
  • Champion a culture of financial controls, collaboration, and operational excellence

About You

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 4+ years’ post-qualification experience in industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience leading finance teams
  • Proficient with ERP systems, Excel, and reporting tools
  • Strong financial controls and change management to develop reporting, streamline processes, and systems
  • A collaborative, adaptable leader who leads by example
