With a workforce of over 75 professionals, the firm provides a full range of services across accounts, tax, advisory, and audit. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with at least one year of experience in a practice environment who is looking to develop their career within a successful and expanding independent firm, working with a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities as an Accounts Semi-Senior:
  • Prepare and submit complete sets of accounts for review by the accounts manager, covering sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Prepare basic business and personal tax computations.
  • Support compliance processes, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff and assist with their queries.
  • Take ownership of tasks assigned by partners or the accounts manager.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns.
  • Communicate directly with clients to manage queries and gather necessary information.
  • Review and help implement effective bookkeeping systems for clients.
About You:
  • AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified with 1-3 years of practice experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experienced with key accounting software such as IRIS, Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
  • Possesses strong attention to detail, a methodical work style, and a consistent ability to recover chargeable time.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a customer-focused approach, and the flexibility to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
