My client, a specialist UK based Civil Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Structural, Civil and Environmental Engineering, is searching for an Apprentice CAD Technician. This role is based in Leeds and will offer training and further qualifications. This opportunity is perfect for a school leaver looking for their first role in Engineering Design.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a T-Level or BTech in Civil Engineering (or similar) and ideally have experience using AutoCAD for designs. It is beneficial for applicants to live in Leeds as you will be required to work from the office.
This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to receive training and support to complete detailed designs of flood alleviation, drainage and roads for residential, commercial and industrial development projects for Private Sector Clients, Housing Developers and Local Authorities. You will be trained to use AutoCAD and Civils 3D. You will also have the opportunity to complete further academic courses to further professional development.
