Job Description
- Channel Strategy Execution: Own community management and posting schedule on our key social channels, notably Instagram and TikTok, while developing opportunities for growth (measured on follower growth, engagement growth, reach, and conversions). This requires both a creative eye and a commercial approach. Knowledge of LinkedIn and Pinterest is beneficial.
- Channel Day-to-day Maintenance: Own the general health of key channels with scheduling, building the grid, post creation, writing copy, broadcast channel posting, proactive community management and sourcing UGC. Please note this role requires content scheduling every weekend.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay informed on the latest social media trends and viral content to ideate and create relevant and impactful posts.
- Content Creation: You will be required to create content for Instagram, as well as other key channels, meaning a comfort in multiple content settings. You will have the ideas and know how to execute them to an incredibly high standard
- Reporting & Analysis: You will be required to report on channel performance on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, so an understanding of data, and how to visualise and express it, is required. Support: You will provide ad hoc support for the socials team across a wide variety of functions. From socials content, to copywriting, asset editing and more, you will have an opportunity to learn and try your hand at many disciplines, and will be up for whatever comes your way.
Requirements
You should:
- Have experience in professional social media experience, having managed a similar account first-hand.
- Have clear examples of both your contributions to growing a social account, and crafting the aesthetic character of the account.
- Have experience creating engaging content – we’ll want to see examples of what you can do, from ideation to filming to editing.
- Have experience with reporting tools to provide insightful analysis into channel performance.
- Be comfortable working in a start-up environment: working lean and quickly with available resources.
- Be highly organised and an excellent project manager, attentive to detail and commercially minded.
- Have a good understanding of the brand and the customer – be enthusiastic about the brand and future success.
- Be driven, ambitious, solution oriented, and a team player.
