A great opportunity for an experienced and motivated Insurance Agent to join a well-respected Client in their offices west of Reading. Unusually, there is no cold-calling involved and an additional Ote is highly achievable – there are many examples of sales team members achieving more than £20k/£30k on additional Ote. The successful candidate will enjoy building relationships over the phone and will have a consultative sales approach to promote successful conclusions to warm lead enquiries from prospective customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Making outbound calls to warm lead customers to build relationships, and explore suitable products and services with them to support their needs
- Ensuring all prospect calls are made promptly, efficiently and professionally
- Providing accurate quotes, dealing with any queries and providing information on current promotions
- Identifying other sales opportunities with customers during conversations
- Maintaining accurate information on the CRM
Requirements :
- Previous outbound telephone-based sales and customer support experience, working in a fast-paced environment – ideally from an Insurance role, but our client is open on this.
- Excellent verbal skills and clear communication
- Confident and upbeat telephone manner
- Determination to succeed and motivated to achieve
- Living within easy reach of West Reading – license and own transport ideal
