Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a strong foundation in on-premise environments and a solid working knowledge of Azure Cloud? We’re working with a multinational organisation that employs over 5,000 people in the UK alone. With a significant pipeline of project and transformation work, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolution of a complex and dynamic infrastructure landscape.
In this role, you will play a key part in the design, deployment, and support of secure, scalable infrastructure systems while also contributing to the development and optimisation of cloud environments. Working closely with the Enterprise Architecture team, you’ll help grow and develop the organisation’s infrastructure environment to align with future business goals and technology strategies.
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of infrastructure services—from initial design and implementation to support and optimisation. Key responsibilities include:
- Installing and maintaining server hardware and software
- Developing PowerShell scripts for automation
- Supporting Power Platform solutions
- Maintaining and integrating Azure services, including Entra ID, Logic Apps, and Dataverse
Collaboration is central to the role. You’ll work across the wider ICT department and in partnership with IT security and business stakeholders, contributing to the creation of technology roadmaps and executing end-to-end infrastructure projects. The ability to produce and maintain detailed documentation, including low-level designs (LLDs), will be vital in ensuring consistency and knowledge sharing across teams.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need experience with:
- Microsoft Azure (minimum AZ-104 certification preferred)
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- Supporting Power Platform tools including Dataverse and Logic Apps
- Entra ID and Active Directory administration
- Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Exchange, and VMware
- Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Network infrastructure (firewalls, routers, iSCSI SANs)
- Remote Desktop Services, SCCM, and Intune
We’re looking for a self-motivated, technically curious individual with strong communication skills and a drive for continuous improvement. You’ll need to be highly organised, able to work independently, and ready to take ownership of issues and projects alike. A positive, proactive approach and a desire to work collaboratively across teams will serve you well.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading global business during an exciting period of infrastructure transformation. You’ll be exposed to a wide range of technologies and initiatives, working with experienced teams to deliver meaningful change and long-term impact. If you’re looking to challenge yourself in a rewarding, enterprise-scale environment, we’d love to hear from you.
