A well-established professional services firm based in Warwick is seeking a skilled Technical Accountant to provide technical support to its internal Accounts Team. The role involves managing year-end accounts and ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Job Overview
- Prepare and submit year-end accounts for Limited Companies.
- Manage financial records and accounts for complex structures including consolidated entities.
- Provide timely technical advice to the Accounts Team.
- Maintain accurate, compliant financial records and internal controls.
- Support external audit processes.
- Ensure deadlines are met and avoid financial penalties.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Accounting.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years experience in practice and ideally but not necessary qualified (ACCA or ACA).
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and technical accounting.
- Proficient in SAGE, IRIS, XERO, Accountancy Manager, and Microsoft Office.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Discreet handling of confidential information.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £28,000- £35,000 (DOE)
- Working hours: Monday-Thursday: 08:00 - 16:00 and Friday: 09:00 - 16:00
- Holiday Package: 20 days + 8BH
- Bonus: Quarterly, post-probation
