This hybrid role blends category insights with commercial analysis. You will play a pivotal role in supporting decision-making across the business by delivering clear, actionable insights derived from both internal data and external market sources. You will also work closely with commercial and internal teams to ensure data-driven decisions are shaping the future of product performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular category performance reviews and contribute to strategic insights for internal stakeholders and key retail partners.
- Maintain and update key data reports, tracking tools, and dashboards across category, sales, and promotional activity.
- Dive deep into retail data portals and EPOS systems to highlight performance trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Identify risks and opportunities in sales trends, stock levels, and promotional effectiveness, ensuring insights lead to proactive action.
- You have a background in category management, or sales analysis within an FMCG environment.
- You are comfortable handling large data sets and are adept at extracting meaningful insights.
- Experience using market data tools such as Kantar, Nielsen, or similar is highly beneficial.
- You are a confident communicator who can translate data into clear business recommendations.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint capability are essential.
