Senior Brand Strategist
London – hybrid
£60,000 – £70,000
I am partnered with a leading firm who are going through an exciting growth period and looking for an experienced Senior Strategist to join their team.
Working as part of the brand team, working alongside some of the best in industry, you will have the opportunity to produce world class work for pharmaceutical clients.

The role –
- Build marketing, brand and creative strategies and compelling strategic story’s that sell the work
- Use positioning process, brand tools and track methodologies to build strong, differentiated brands based on powerful scientific foundations
- Understanding of equity management and steer brand communications to drive equity
- Develop annual brand plans and translate these into actionable plans
- Develop comprehensive on brand creative strategies based on client needs
- Provide strategic feedback to the creative team, whilst protecting the quality of the creative product
- Lead the creative validation and concept testing process
- Work well in partnership with scientific strategists, leveraging their insight and deep scientific understanding
- Build communications ideas and journeys based on behavioural insights
- Construct a customer journey tactical plan across multi-media, playing with the interaction of the differing roles of each touch-point from print to social
- Manage research and insight design, translating data into compelling insight with robust experience in both qual and quant methodologies
- Construct and run workshops from large to small client teams
- Lead and deliver strategy in advertising pitches
- Track the progression of projects through the strategic planning process, chasing up outstanding or unresolved issues to ensure work is completed on time
- Mentor juniors in the team, providing feedback and guidance
What you need –
- Full understanding of brand challenges, market situations, and which marketing tools are best for which scenarios
- Experience of equity management and can steer brand communications to drive equity
- In depth knowledge of a full range of research techniques
- Confident presentation skills and active participation in client meetings
- Excellence in PowerPoint, and visualisation of concepts and data. Can bring to life a compelling strategic story on screen
- Demonstrates influence and diplomacy in written and verbal presentations – both internally and externally facing
- Proven experience in Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals
