Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience

We are looking for a Metrologist to join our team based at our Coventry UKAS Laboratory. The role involves calibration and certification of Dimensional Measuring Equipment and Reference Masters in line with the laboratory’s approved operating procedures, maintaining administrative reporting and accurate records.
Responsibilities:
- Calibration of external and internal tools
- Conducting calibration investigations and reports efficiently
- Ensuring profitability and maintaining internal quality management systems (QMS)
- Upholding internal standards and providing clear and quick internal information
Requirements:
- Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications or experience
- Experience in standards room and/or gauge inspection techniques
- Knowledge of inspection techniques and customer applications
- In-depth knowledge of industry-specific terminology
- Good working knowledge of dimensional metrology
- Ability to work independently at our site and customer premises
- Good communication, organizational, and IT skills
- Willingness to learn, well-organized, presentable, flexible, and self-motivated
