Role Overview:
As a Sales Account Manager , you will focus on growing annual recurring revenue by managing and expanding relationships with both new and existing customers. This role requires a structured, self-motivated individual with a strong ability to adapt to diverse markets, including public sector frameworks and complex sales cycles.
You’ll drive sales using consultative approaches, trials, case studies, and collaborative meetings to showcase product value.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development (70%)
- Identify and engage new customers within target sectors (e.g., public sector, councils, facilities management, utilities).
- Develop tailored solutions for customers using modular products and software platforms.
- Create opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products, helping customers expand module usage.
Account Management (30%)
- Build and nurture relationships with existing customers (600+ current customers, ranging from small 2-person teams to large corporations like Petrofac).
- Maximise value from existing accounts by promoting additional modules and services.
Sales Process Management
- Organise and lead 4-5 customer meetings per week (or fewer, larger-scale meetings as needed).
- Present solutions effectively, aligning with customer pain points and demonstrating synergies.
- Manage trial processes and case study collaborations with institutions like universities and councils.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to generate and respond to inbound leads.
- Leverage customer support teams for technical scoping and post-sale implementation.
Reporting and Planning
- Develop structured sales plans to target public sector frameworks and long-cycle markets.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and report on pipeline and sales performance.

Experience:
- Proven track record in sales or account management, preferably within the public sector, utilities, renewables, or facilities management.
