Key Responsibilities of the successful Senior Building Surveyor: Manage and deliver Building Surveying and project management services across a range of sectors. Build and maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring a seamless service. Use and apply building contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC) effectively. Conduct defect analysis, building surveys, and produce detailed professional reports and specifications. Deliver commissions under established framework agreements. Mentor junior colleagues, supporting their professional growth and career development. Requirements of the Senior Building Surveyor: BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying from a RICS-accredited institution. Holds chartership or is working towards chartership. Proven track record in pre- and post-contract project management. Proficiency in AutoCAD and NBS; experience with Revit and understanding of BIM Level 2 are advantageous. Strong IT skills (e.g., Word, Excel). Excellent communication skills to inspire clients and colleagues. Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
