We are seeking an Internal Sales Representative to join our Westhill-based client. You will be responsible for interacting with existing customers to increase sales through phone and email communication. This role will involve collaborating with outside sales to ensure sales goals are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain orders through email and telephone calls, verify and enter items, and transfer orders to fulfilment.
  • Increase orders by suggesting related items, explaining features, and checking customer’s buying history.
  • Own, qualify, and develop opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
  • Prepare, generate, and follow up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders.
  • Review open customer order reports and act on open items, including those at risk of not meeting the promised delivery date.
  • Report industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management.

Qualifications

  • High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in sales and sales administration.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to solve routine problems independently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for interacting with existing customers primarily through phone and email to increase sales of the Company's products and/or services. This will involve obtaining and up-selling orders, creating customer satisfaction, and adding value to the customer's buying experience. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with outside sales to ensure sales goals are being met.
