Project Manager - Engineering Planning

We are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to lead a dynamic team and drive strategic growth across two major UK sites. Key Responsibilities : Lead and manage engineering teams across multiple locations Develop and implement technology strategies to meet growth targets Oversee the planning and execution of customer-funded and internal development programs Manage project timelines, budgets, and communications, ensuring alignment with goals Maintain high standards for engineering processes, including design and risk management (FMEA, FTA, etc.) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product designs and supplier capabilities Ensure continuous improvement through process control and quality management Key Skills & Qualifications : Proven leadership in engineering teams, with a track record of navigating change Strong background in microelectronics , electronics, hardware, software, and control system design Experience in hybrid or mixed-signal test design is a plus Familiarity with Aerospace/Defence standards (AS9100, Mil-Std) Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Systems Engineering; postgraduate qualifications (e.g., MBA) are a plus Exceptional organizational and communication skills, confident in presenting to stakeholders Why Join Us : You’ll have the opportunity to lead cutting-edge development projects, influencing the future of engineering within the aerospace and defense sectors.
