Piper Maddox are partnering with an international renewable energy company to bring in key additions to their UK operations. Having been a presence in the energy sector for over 40 years, this company has been a mainstay in pioneering renewable energy technology as one of the most experienced names in the industry.
Within the current changing landscape of UK renewable energy development amidst grid reform processes, stability is a key factor when considering new options. A strong portfolio, paired with good investment, will put companies in a good position beyond the Gate2 process. This company has excellent investment from one of the top backers in the sector, as well as a robust, multi-GW pipeline of Solar, BESS, and Onshore Wind projects.
Our client has a presence in three continents and specialise in taking projects from inception, through development, into delivery/construction, and operating the completed asset. You can rest assured that you will see your projects come to fruition as they remain in-house throughout the project lifecycle. Working within an IPP will allow you to contribute to a wide range of project matters in development but also in handing over to delivery.
They are looking to hire a Senior Development Manager to join the team and lead on driving their projects through the development phase. This would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional in renewable energy project development to take on a high level of influence and responsibility over projects within a hugely stable environment where you can focus on projects with the peace of mind that comes with world class funding.
Your role would surround the coordination of key project development pillars: Land, Grid, Planning, as well as ensuring project feasibility. You would be crucial in maintaining project viability both as a development, but also on the more commercial budget and timeline matters. You would also be responsible for managing handover to the delivery side of things, liaising with internal development and engineering teams, as well as managing external consultants and representing this company in public consultation forums.
You would be joining up with a highly experienced team where the sharing and collaboration of ideas and experience is promoted. This role would suit a Senior Development Manager who is driven and committed to contributing to the clean energy transition, and is looking to join one of the top global IPPs in the market.
