We are excited to announce an exciting opening for the position of Legal Counsel. They are a true principle as a market maker to exchanges and OTC clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for in-house legal matters including drafting agreements, addressing compliance issues, and participating in negotiation discussions. In order to succeed, this candidate should feel comfortable working with in-house and outside counsels on a variety of legal matters.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts such as client/user, vendor/procurement, and non-disclosure agreements

• Providing practical legal advice and support on business and regulatory matters as applicable to financial markets in a fast-paced environment

• Working with and advising business clients directly, as well as providing guidance and practical solutions

• Working closely with the business to educate and challenge

• Assist with compliance review of new and existing clientele, including AML/KYC checks

Essentials:

▪ Good knowledge of Commercial law in relation to financial services, contracts, trading agreements and other OTC, structured products and lending agreements.

▪ Experience working with or within a financial institution or fintech/crypto environment.

• A demonstrable interest and understanding of the laws and regulations applicable to digital assets.

• Able to confidently research legal / regulatory issues, interpret information and present summary of findings
