Job Title: Data Engineer

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to develop and maintain robust computer systems and data visualization solutions that enhance business processes in a GxP-compliant environment. You will play a critical role in creating dashboard reports, business intelligence visualizations, and collaborating with development teams to turn data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain complex, scalable, and reusable reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate on architecture and design decisions to ensure performance, extensibility, and maintainability.
  • Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Identify and implement the best solutions to meet architectural and user needs.
  • Develop and optimize dashboards and reports to extract insights and drive value.
  • Conduct iterative reviews to refine deliverables based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Adhere to coding standards and style guides for consistency and maintainability.

Required Background:

  • Demonstrated experience in building dashboards and analytics tools.
  • Proven ability to query and present large data sets efficiently.
  • Experience in interpreting dashboard structures and translating business needs into technical implementations.
  • Strong understanding of database systems, including SQL, data modeling, normalization, and administration/architecture.
  • Advanced development capabilities, including scripting and visualization tools.
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, macros, and advanced functions).
  • Knowledge of statistical calculations and advanced analytical functions.
