RECfinancial is exclusively partnering with a Leicestershire based SME business in their search to appoint a Financial Accountant. The role is based at a smart office which is commutable from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby and Coventry / Warwickshire.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this Financial Accountant role includes management accounting, KPI reporting and analysis, assisting with budgeting and long-range planning, balance sheet control, VAT returns and year-end/stat accounting. The client would like to appoint a candidate who is keen to progress into a Financial Controller role in the future.

The line manager has a positive coaching style and a hands-off approach to people management. The role is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for career growth now and in the future. The business is keen to hire a candidate who ideally has been trained in practice or is currently in a financial accounting role. Candidates who are either qualified or close to qualification in either the ACA or ACCA qualification will be considered.
