Reporting to Head of Supply Chain, this role's purpose includes responsibility for the control of assigned purchased items. Key duties include: * Achieve materials budget for all assigned purchased items ensuring delivery of PPV (Purchase Price Variance) to budget or better. * Responsible for maintaining optimum inventory levels for assigned purchased items in line with budget; measured as a monthly average. * Required to support (NPI) new product introduction plans by managing new tooling requirements and delivering assigned purchased items on time, to cost (to capex or better). * In conjunction with Head of Supply Chain and supporting team develop and implement supply strategies to meet the strategic plan. * Maintain effective communication and collaboration to ensure all suppliers selected are developed to meet the requirements of Operations, Quality and Commercial functions. * Ensure the accurate maintenance of item data for assigned purchased parts is achieved to enable to precise Monthly Information reporting. * Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of economic and market trends to ensure informed commercial decisions are made…
