An Engineering & Manufacturing company with over 80 years of experience in innovative electrical technology design for the Nuclear and Energy sectors is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with mv/lv panel design experience. As an Electrical Engineer, you will manage all technical issues associated with client purchase orders for the supply of MV/LV panels. The role forms part of a broader engineering team and thus will have support from other members of the team.
You will have experience with Inventor software and produce electrical layout and GAs drawings for technical briefs and manuals. This position could quickly develop into a customer-facing Project Engineer / Project Manager for the right individual.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for the production and technical content of the purchase order required client documentation. This may include, but not be limited to: Procedures, Electrical diagrams, layout/arrangements drawings, technical manuals.
- Responsible for the production of sub-supplier material requisitions for processing by others.
- Responsible for liaison with the client for all technical matters relating to the purchase order.
- Liaison with other internal departments, as required, to ensure that the requirements of the purchase order are met.
- Ensuring departmental performance to a standard which satisfies internal and external customer requirements.
- Performs detailed technical reviews.
- Routinely interacts with the manufacturing workforce to assist with resolving design and manufacturing issues.
- HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in AutoCad/AutoCad Inventor.
