About the Role:We’re on the lookout for an experienced Class 1 Shunter to join our clients team based in Hinckley. In this role, you’ll be responsible for shunting between two close sites and around the yard, keeping operations smooth and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently shunt trailers between two nearby sites
- Manage yard movements, ensuring all loads are positioned correctly and safely
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure full compliance with health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with the transport team and site supervisors
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Previous experience shunting in a yard environment
- A reliable, safety-first attitude
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
What We Offer:
- £18 per hour – paid weekly
- Consistent night shifts from 18:00 to 04:00
- A straightforward shunting role – no long hauls, just precision and reliability
