Oracle Financials Functional Consultant – £750 to £780 per day (Inside IR35) – London (2 days per week) – 9 months
Experience
- Extensive Oracle ERP Financials (including Cloud) delivery experience in the role as a Functional Consultant, many of these roles should be customer side.
- Strong experience across RTR, P2P, O2C, should also (ideally) have an understanding of EPM capability and functionality.
- Experience of working collaboratively with Implementation Partners
- Financial Services experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Works with and supports SMEs through all workshops and other sessions to understand requirements to ensure these are captured correctly by implementation partner and work alongside partner functional consultants (in detailed additional sessions) to ensure solutions meet the needs of the business.
- Create the business scenarios and test scripts expanding on initial work done by implementation partner.
- Work closely alongside partner to ensure gaps are met through Sprints. This will include working alongside functional consultants during build sprints to test or validate any design work to ensure it meets requirements prior to showcases to ensure more effective decision making.
- Support business end users and system accountants / BAU support to ensure solutions are fully understood and pass on detailed knowledge transfer via detailed review sessions to build in house knowledge for future support.
- Analyse and resolve functional design challenges by collaborating with and supporting the implementation partner teams to resolve complex problems and implement solutions that meet requirements.
- Create training material and deliver end user training.
- Create (with support of SME’s) the configuration data needed by the implementation partner (final CoA, Projects structures, budget structures etc).
- Create new or update existing SOPs
- Create hierarchies and workflow requirements for implementation partner to build.
- Review detailed functional specifications produced by the implementation partner (and recommend changes or approvals),
- Work closely with the business and support the implementation partner to identify further opportunities for process improvements.
- Conduct system testing & support user acceptance testing.
- Support business users / SMEs in data mapping from legacy to target.
