About the Role

We are seeking a Marketing Automation & Funnel Optimization Specialist to join our team and drive growth through innovative digital marketing strategies. This role focuses on creating and optimizing customer journeys, leveraging content and automation to engage prospects, and designing low-barrier initial offers tailored for our small engineering consultancy. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tripwire marketing, email sequence automation, and lead funnel optimization while ensuring the conversion of inbound intent from our website and social media followers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Funnel Creation & Customer Acquisition Strategies
  • Design, implement, and optimize digital marketing and sales funnels tailored to the needs of a small engineering consultancy
  • Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies by leveraging low-barrier initial offers, such as Free 30-minute Consultations or discovery Calls
  • Build and execute tripwire marketing strategies, including:
  • Creating email sequences that nurture prospects through the funnel
  • Automating engagement tracking to monitor prospect activity and interest levels
  • Ensuring the lead funnel progresses toward conversions through data-driven optimizations
  • Transform existing technical content into high-performing assets for lead magnets, nurture campaigns, and upsell strategies

HubSpot Management & Marketing Automation

  • Leverage HubSpot lead scoring to prioritize and segment prospects based on their interactions and engagement readiness
  • Build and maintain automated workflows within HubSpot to streamline lead nurturing, follow-ups, and retargeting efforts
  • Track inbound intent from website inquiries and social media followers and convert them into actionable leads

SEO & Analytics Integration

  • Use SEO tools like Semrush and Google Analytics to increase visibility for key services and generate organic leads
  • Monitor and optimize website traffic, campaign performance, and funnel conversion rates, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to support organic growth and audience targeting

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze marketing funnels and campaign performance to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
  • Use data-driven insights to refine customer journeys, improve conversion rates, and maximize campaign ROI
  • Create and share performance dashboards and recommendations with stakeholders
  • Workflow Automation & Process Optimization
  • Identify repetitive marketing tasks and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Stay informed on emerging tools and strategies to enhance marketing automation and streamline processes

Qualifications & Skills

Required Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of HubSpot, including lead scoring, automation workflows, and reporting
  • Proven success in developing digital marketing and sales funnels, particularly in B2B or professional services contexts
  • Experience implementing tripwire marketing, including automated email sequences, engagement tracking, and funnel conversion optimization
  • Expertise in converting 1st-degree inbound intent from website visitors and social media followers into qualified leads and customers
  • Proficiency in SEO tools like Semrush, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console for optimizing campaigns and website performance
  • Strong background in marketing automation and data analysis to drive strategic decisions

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot workflows, integrations, and campaign management
  • Proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms for campaign optimization and reporting
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for campaign customization is a plus
