Senior DevOps Engineer | up to £60,000 | Hybrid, Liverpool
Pearson Carter are currently working with a multi-award-winning global technology and entertainment company founded in 2014 that focuses on sports and entertainment news. Their platforms immediately update sports scores and, in certain markets, offer fully licensed, real money gaming services.
They are looking for an IT Senior DevOps Engineer to join and to responsibly provide trusted technology solutions for developing and growing gaming markets. They empower and develop professional and grassroots sports, so if you love IT & sports, then this is for you!
Responsibilities:
- Analysing cutting edge and industry standard DevOps tools and practices
- Establishing, maintaining, and participating in international collaborations
- Design, delivery & maintenance of new or improved IT systems & DevOps solutions
- Installation, configuration and administration of operating systems and applications
- Deployment, implementation, configuration, management, testing, monitoring and administration of CI/CD workflows & hardware platforms
- Maintaining operations & administration
- Continually identifying & managing system and process improvements
- Training, mentoring & providing guidance to team members
- Prioritising, organising and balancing important tasks and any additional duties as required, commensurate with the role
Experience:
- Kubernetes / Docker
- CI/CD
- CI/CD toolsets: Terraform, AWS cloud formation, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef/Puppet
- AWS / GCP
- Source Control (Gitlab, Github)
- Monitoring tools
- RabbitMQ
- Elasticsearch
Salary
They offer an impressive salary package: up to £60,000 with hybrid working and performance related bonuses.
Location
This role is based in Liverpool 3 days per week with weekend on-call support (1-2 days per month on a rota basis).
