Delphi Developer – Modernisation & Cloud Projects £70–80k | Hybrid | Guildford Based | 1–2 days per fortnight Salary: £70,000 (stretching to £80,000 for the right person) 2 stage interview process: One technical, one cultural, with at least one in-person chat. I\’m working with an established software company that’s just entered an exciting new chapter. They were recently acquired by private equity, and with that comes fresh investment, a new leadership team, and a sharp focus on modernisation and cloud innovation. Why this is different: This isn’t about ripping up legacy code and starting over. It’s about carefully modernising a well loved product used by 350+ customers across Europe and the UK. The business is moving from traditional desktop software to a hybrid cloud hosted model, and they need a Delphi expert to help lead that journey. What makes it interesting: You’ll be the hands on Delphi champion, with support from a legacy savvy internal team and the freedom to guide modernisation best practices. The role is product-led, customer focused, role and you\’ll have the backing of new ownership and a forward thinking leadership team genuinely committed to technical evolution. You’ll thrive here if you: -Live and breathe Delphi (newer versions/frameworks especially) -Have experience in cloud environments or transitioning legacy apps – Bonus: Java or C# knowledge for cross-functional input More info : -HQ in Guildford (1 day per fortnight minimum, ideally 2 per week) -Travel costs covered if you\’re not local.
