Infrassocs is currently partnered with a leading project finance bank at the heart of the energy transition. Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Finance Senior Associate to support the origination, structuring, execution, and portfolio management of project finance.
- Support the origination and execution of project finance transactions, including greenfield and brownfield projects in energy, infrastructure, and natural resources.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to assess project viability and support deal structuring and credit decisions.
- Conduct in-depth due diligence, including legal, technical, insurance, and environmental reviews, in collaboration with internal and external advisors.
- Monitor and manage a portfolio of existing project finance loans, including ongoing credit analysis, waivers, amendments, and covenant monitoring.
- Liaise with clients, legal counsel, technical consultants, and other financial institutions throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and ESG-related considerations impacting the project finance market.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; CFA or advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
~4–6 years of experience in project finance, corporate banking, or structured lending, preferably within an international financial institution or advisory firm.
~ Knowledge of project finance documentation, financial structuring, and key legal concepts.
~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality materials for internal and external stakeholders.
