Mechanical Technician (3-Month Contract) – Barrow, UK Are you a hands-on Mechanical Technician with a passion for safety and technical excellence? Employment Type: Contract Conduct fault-finding, testing, and improvements on machinery and control equipment Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on operational equipment Record test procedures, results, and assist in detailed planning of maintenance activities Maintain high housekeeping standards and follow emergency and operational procedures Recognised apprenticeship in a relevant field (ideally NVQ Level 3) Minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent (including Maths and English) Flexible, committed, with solid problem-solving skills Comfortable using computers and technical systems Engineering teams, shift team members, and asset teams.
