SMC-Design is looking for a full-time talented and experienced BIM Coordinator to join our London studio.

This is a key role providing BIM and Revit support with responsibilities split between project-specific requirements and general BIM/Revit activities.

Working under the guidance of the BIM Manager, the role will involve the technical upskilling and mentoring of the team, being responsible for ensuring team optimisation for working in Revit, overseeing associated technologies and workflows, ensuring delivery of coordinated models and overseeing the production of data to facilitate delivery of consistent, high-quality project deliverables.

Ideal requirements:

  • Extensive detailed knowledge and understanding of other relevant software and platforms; Dynamo, Navisworks, CDE’s, Enscape
  • Possess previous working experience in a similar role, ideally within a Level 2 BIM-accredited practice
  • Degree in Architecture/ID or Architectural Technology preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of UK BIM standards
  • Advanced knowledge of Revit, content creation skills including adaptive and parametric components
  • Experience working across various architectural and/or interior design projects at different RIBA stages within a BIM project environment
  • Good communicator and listening skills
  • Trouble-shooter, methodical
  • Multi-tasking and problem solving
  • Enthusiastic and self-initiated

Applicants should have a flair for design and experience working on high-quality projects, understand digital construction and exhibit their ability to contribute to the design ethos of the practice.

Successful applicants will be able to work on high-profile projects from concept through to completion and become part of a dynamic, design-led and friendly studio.

Competitive salary dependent on experience.
