Flexible hybrid working – blend home, client site and office Support to pursue AWS certifications (training provided) Access to active internal engineering communities and blogs Strong L&D culture, technical mentorship and career support Full benefits package including private healthcare and pension THE CLOUD NATIVE ENGINEER ROLE As a senior engineer in the AWS team, you’ll work on high-impact projects across public and private sectors, delivering modern infrastructure solutions with a DevOps-first approach. You’ll own the design and delivery of cloud-native services using containerisation, Infrastructure as Code, and serverless technologies – collaborating with software engineers, cloud architects and delivery leads. You’ll also contribute to growing the capability of your team – mentoring colleagues, driving Agile ceremonies, and helping shape standards across projects. CLOUD NATIVE ENGINEER – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design and implement secure, scalable solutions using AWS services Champion DevOps principles including CI/CD and GitOps Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal engineering communities Engage in Agile ceremonies and champion SCRUM best practices Continuously upskill and support others on their AWS certification journey CLOUD NATIVE ENGINEER – ESSENTIAL SKILLS Strong experience designing and deploying AWS-native solutions Proficiency in at least one language – e.g. Python, Go or Java DevOps mindset with experience in CI/CD and Agile delivery AWS certification (or actively pursuing one – training will be provided) Python, Go, Java, AWS, Cloud Native, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, DevOps, Serverless, GitOps, Agile, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Software Engineering, AWS Certification, SC Cleared, DV Cleared, National Security, Defence, Defense, Government
