TraditionData is a division of Tradition that provides consistent, high-quality financial market data that reflects real price interest in global OTC swaps markets, covering Interest Rate Derivatives, Energy & Commodities, Credit & Fixed Income, and FX & Money Markets. TraditionData is currently seeking to appoint a Programme and Process Manager to be based within the London office.
The Role:
TraditionData is a growing financial data business expanding its client-focused product, service and distribution capabilities. It is critical that the processes and procedures required to ensure operational efficiency and excellence are developed with appropriate governance and embedded controls. We are seeking a highly capable programme manager to drive the execution of our global data strategy through delivery of ambitious, approved projects and programmes. The successful candidate will also own the definition and delivery of processes essential for a market-leading financial data business. This role requires operational excellence, exceptional organisational abilities and a commitment to delivery. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure effective stakeholder engagement are essential.
Main responsibilities within the Programme and Process Manager position include:
- Programme Management
- Lead the end-to-end management of strategic programmes, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource allocation schedules, risk registers, and communication strategies.
- Coordinate and align cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to achieve programme objectives.
- Monitor progress, manage risks/issues, and report regularly to senior leadership on status and performance.
- Proactively manage resource allocation and recommend prioritisation based on effective delivery of TraditionData strategy.
- Process Management & Improvement
- Analyse existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements taking account of governance requirements.
- Define and implement SLA’s with internal resources and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, obligations and delivery expectations between TraditionData and other internal departments.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.
- Create process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness and performance of processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a central point of contact for programme-related activities across departments.
- Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings, workshops, and reviews to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Champion change management initiatives to support adoption of new processes and systems.
- Work with the group Programme Management department to ensure alignment of corporate procedures and process.
- Provide reports to the TraditionData Exec and Tradition Group Executives as required.
Key skills, experience and competencies required to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in programme management, process improvement, or operational excellence roles.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional programmes successfully.
- Certification in project or process management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma, Agile/Scrum) is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
